Dr. Morris is exceptional. Superb oral surgeon with personal care. Did not hesitate to provide after hours care when my daughter experienced an issue after her surgery that required immediate attention. It was 1 am! Dr. Morris met us at the office and fixed the issue. Had such a caring and funny attitude (mind you it was past 1 am) that my 11 year old daughter felt at ease despite the situation. He called several hours after to check up on her. And yes! Dr. Morris fixed the problem perfectly! Wonderful oral surgeon and highly recommended.

I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Morris, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He made me feel completely safe and comfortable throughout the entire process, and the procedure went smoothly. My recovery was much easier than I expected, thanks to the excellent care I received. The entire staff was wonderful, especially Crystal, who was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Morris and his team for anyone needing oral surgery!

My experience the was informed by treatment nurses it would be 4-8 weeks authorization, got insurance on n phone treatment nurses found that the auth was sent 11 days after my visit and sent back within 2 days. They had no intention of taking care of my painful tooth . Giving health concerns and being a nurse I would’ve appreciated a straight forward answer from Dr Morris and treatment nurses . Other than he’s out of town x2 and he was booked until 10/13. . My consultation was in September. I was told I would be worked into asap. Well that never happened. Honesty is the best . Please just say I can’t or I won’t or I will be out of town for a few weeks if you’d like to wait. I was in so much pain. No compassion attitude from treatment nurses when I had her on 3 way with insurance. Then suddenly he had a spot w local anesthesia, which he knew from conversations that’s not why I wanted. Have had a wonderful experience with The Dr. Brock no problem easy process painful procedure years ago. This has changed. I was told Dr. Brock is retired. I will not return and willn’t recommend. Due to wait time , no compassion. Oh and the Authorization that takes 4-8 weeks. That was actually returned in 4days. Please be honest with your Patient we appreciate that more than anything. Coming from a Nurse and for all people.

One word to describe my experience with them is “amazing”, but it truly deserves to be elaborated. From my very first visit to the entire recovery process, my wisdom tooth removal experience was exceptional. The staff, including Crystal, were knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. After my pre-operation visit, I left feeling fully informed and confident — with no fear of the upcoming procedure. Dr. Morris was outstanding — highly knowledgeable, professional, and extremely informative throughout the entire process, especially after the procedure. I highly recommend this place for all your oral care needs!

Frequently Asked Questions About Katy Center for Oral & Facial Surgery

Do I need my wisdom teeth?

Wisdom teeth are not essential for proper oral function. Your teeth can function normally without them. In rare cases where wisdom teeth align correctly and gum tissue is healthy, removal may not be necessary. However, even well-aligned wisdom teeth are susceptible to disease and should be monitored annually by a dental professional.

Why should I have my wisdom teeth removed?

Approximately 90% of individuals experience issues with at least one wisdom tooth. Problems often arise when wisdom teeth become impacted, causing pain and potential complications. Early removal can prevent these issues and simplify the extraction process. Our oral surgeons at COFS are highly experienced in handling complex cases, making them a preferred choice for referrals in the Houston area.
