- KNKathy NaylorMar 1, 20262.0Our newest HEB on Jordan Ranch has some problems. Ist, the drive through pharmacy is inaccessible to me. There is no drive up window. They have a horrible, mechanical system to deliver your prescriptions. I cannot use it from my car, a GMC Acadia because in order to grasp the huge heavy container, I have to reach down from my window which is painful and bruising because of the pressure of my window glass on my underarm, so I have to drive up and get out of my car to retrieve my meds. From what the employees have said many customers have complained. They don't seem to have many drive up customers. They also make you sign a receipt and send it back to them before they will send out your prescription. So 2 deliveries and double get-out-of-car & wait time for prescriptions that were already paid for online. Other HEBs don't do that, you get the prescription & receipt at the same time and you sign the receipt when you actually get your meds, and then send the receipt back. I have also received very dry stale bakery items, like French bread several times. Yesterday I got some Chobani liquid yogurt. It was horrible so I added a little sweetener and took another drink, it was so spoiled and disgusting! The expiration date was fine, so I guess it sat out unrefrigerated for a long time. At 5am I started vomiting and diarrhea with food poisoning, I assume from the yogurt drink, I have saved the bottle in case I get sicker. I am so disappointed, I was so excited when they opened but I am afraid to continue shopping there. Now I have to go back to Kroger which is farther away. If they ever replace the pharmacy drive up system, I will try again.
