Recently, I attempted to request a routine medication refill and was met with complete silence. No one answered the phone, and none of my portal emails were returned. Instead, I eventually received a text message (which was unusual) informing me that they no longer prescribe medications through insurance and now only offer compound, self‑pay options. At no point did I receive any prior notice or communication about this major change. Because of the lack of transparency, I am now forced to abruptly stop my medication until I can follow up with my primary care provider. This is not only inconvenient but also irresponsible patient care. I previously had a positive experience with this practice, but this situation has been extremely disappointing. This is not how you handle ongoing patient treatment or communication.
