Very disappointing experience at this location, especially compared to another Quest Diagnostics I visited in Pearland, which was excellent.
The staff member who assisted me did not greet me, introduce herself, or explain anything clearly. She gave short, abrupt instructions and became irritated when I asked what I was signing, which is a reasonable question in any healthcare setting.
She then abruptly left the room, and it appeared there was a discussion about me being a “difficult” patient. When the supervisor came in, the situation was not deescalated at all. There was no introduction, no effort to understand what happened, and the interaction felt awkward and biased from the start.
During the blood draw, multiple staff had to step in, yet no one communicated what was happening or made any effort to make me feel comfortable.
I understand places get busy, but basic professionalism, respect, and communication should be standard. This was easily my worst experience at a Quest Diagnostics, and I would not return to this location.
