Well, I got my glasses, and I needed them quickly, so that's good. But these employees are beyond incompetent. From not knowing what's in stock, to failing to follow through on communicating when the order was reasy, to each and every employee not knowing which orders were ready or not ... Every step so frustrating.

Clinton assisted me on my visit to the Galleria Houston location. I called before I went in to the store to be sure they were able to put my prescription into my new Meta Ray Ban glasses. Clinton insured me they could and told me he’d be happy to help me when I arrived. He was very welcoming and he got me in and out but not before assuring me of the details of my order before my departure. I’ll update once I get my glasses back.

It’s a scam, all they do is lie! I bought a pair of prescription glasses back in December 2024. I attempted to wear them for a year, but they made me dizzy. In December 2025, I ordered new lenses for the glasses. They assured me this time they would work. After receiving the new lenses, I was still getting dizzy. I tried for over 3 weeks to make them work. No such luck. Before the 30 days were up, I went back into the store to ask for a refund on the new lenses. I was very clear that I just wanted my money back for the new lenses. I was told that ALL they could do was redo the lenses, that this was a requirement for a refund to be given. Seeing as I had no other option I said yes. The new lenses still made me dizzy and again within the 30 day window I asked for a refund. I was informed that I can only get a refund from the original 30 days and that has expired. There’s nothing they can do for me. They lied to prevent me from getting a refund and that’s that. I’m just out the hundreds of dollars I paid. All they can do now apparently is redo the lenses if I bring in a new prescription. Mind you I have glasses with the same prescription that I wear without issues. My prescription has also been the same for the last 6 years. I can also guarantee it won’t change this year either, I see perfectly in my existing glasses. LensCrafters takes advantage of people and is nothing more than a glorified swindler. I will never go back and I advise to go anywhere but here! Avoid at all costs!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
