I recently switched my pharmacy service from the HEB pharmacy across the street to Kroger, and the difference in customer service is astonishing. I was deeply frustrated by the lack of empathy and customer focus at my previous pharmacy, but my experience at Kroger has completely restored my faith in quality pharmaceutical care.
On the morning of October 16th, my doctor sent a prescription over at 8:00 AM. By 10:00 AM, the Kroger pharmacy had already notified me that they had received the order and it would be ready shortly, fantastic turnaround time!
When I called to check on the order, I spoke with the Pharmacist, Abid Ghafoor. I mentioned my order wasn't ready yet, but he immediately told me to go ahead and come in, assuring me he would have it ready by the time I arrived. Crucially, he could hear me coughing over the phone and knew instantly that I needed my inhaler due to my asthma.
This moment of proactive care and genuine listening made all the difference. The entire process was easy and quick. I felt that the staff truly listened and cared about me as a customer. This level of service is precisely what was missing elsewhere. I will absolutely be using this Kroger Pharmacy for all my future needs. Highly, highly recommend!

I recently changed to this pharmacy because they're never busy, and it has been one bad experience after another. Just about every time I come at night to pick up a prescription that was placed in the morning, it has not been filed yet; if there's anyone in line ahead of me, my wait has been excruciatingly long; and MANY times, I've called ahead to make sure my scripts are ready before braving 59 traffic to get here, have been told they're ready, only to get here and have to wait for 30 minutes while they fill them (like I am doing right now). Kroger has better pricing than most places, but chose another location - this one does not have it together.

I wish I could give zero stars.
I got a phone call yesterday saying that my prescription would be ready to pick up today. So, at the end of my lunch break, I called to make sure it would be ready to pick up on my way home. The woman said it isn't ready and there's no way for me to get my prescription. What?! Why would I get that call then?!
Now I have no time to figure the situation out. This is by far the WORST pharmacy I could fathom. I'm giving all of y'all a warning - DON'T COME HERE. Extremely unprofessional, confusing, and unaccountable beyond my wildest beliefs. I'm shocked.
Just wanted to end by reiterating how upset I am and how awful this pharmacy is. I'm glad I'm moving and never have to deal with this place again.

Dana, a pharmacist technician or pharmacist here was extremely helpful, courteous, and patient. I came from 3 different Walgreen's prior to stopping at Kroger, and had nothing but bad experiences with all of them (not patient, rude to other customers). While i dealt with an issue with my insurance for prescription pills, she waited patiently for what had to be at least 30 minutes while i fought with the insurance company.
TLDR: Dana represents the top tier of great customer service.
The next day while picking up ,the pharmacist manager explained to me what the prescription was even though it was not necessary.
