  I am writing to provide feedback regarding a concerning experience I had with the pharmacy service on Oct. 15, 2025 around 11am. I called to confirm a refill for my inhaler, as I was experiencing difficulty breathing and needed the medication urgently for relief. Unfortunately, the employee who answered the phone was immediately dismissive and appeared determined to rush me off the line. When I inquired about the refill status, I was told the pharmacy had not received anything from my doctor. I explained that my doctor had confirmed sending the prescription several hours prior. While I was still trying to clarify this critical issue, the employee stated, "I have 8 people waiting on the other line," which made me feel that my urgent medical need was a low priority. My simple request was for her to please take a moment to reach out to my doctor's office for clarification, given my difficulty breathing. This request was declined. I understand that pharmacies can be understaffed and busy, but the lack of empathy and the refusal to assist a customer in an urgent situation is unacceptable. Customer service, especially in a health care setting, requires patience and a commitment to helping patients, not rushing them. As a result of this interaction, I will be moving all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. I hope this feedback can be used to improve staff training and ensure that every patient, especially those with immediate health concerns, is treated with the kindness and professional assistance they deserve.   I have been with HEB Pharmacy Buffalo-Speedway since they opened many years ago. I have never experienced a better staff and service. The manager, Noble, is amazing, Rhea is fantastic; everyone there clearly cares about their customers. They listen to their customers' concerns and go the extra mile whenever possible. Whether it questions about medications, stock, traveling situations, etc., the staff will work with you as best they can to make things work out.

  I have never had such an incredible service experience as I did today. I needed a medication urgently for my son and my usual pharmacy did not stock it. HEB did and they worked with me to get the prescription transferred and filled in less than an hour. I got the vibe that they actually cared about my situation and wanted to help. I’m moving all my prescriptions here as soon as I can. Service exceeded expectations. So grateful.

  I always have to wait when I come, even if I'm the only one there to pick up. There usually are at least 5 people in the back and no one at the counter. Even if you're standing there, they'll look at you then go back to what they're doing, usually without acknowledging you. I went to pick up a prescription and was told it would take 20 mins to fill. I said I'd come back and when I did return the next day was told it was not ready and would take another day. They didn't have an answer for the delay and it was a vital medication that I needed so they said they'd fill it in 10 mins.I sat there in the waiting area to make sure no other issues came up and when it was ready they did not call me. I finally looked above my head at the screen and saw the prescription was ready. They do not make things easy and inconvenience folks.
