  I placed a prescription for my pet and the young man who helped me was incredibly kind. The pharmacist came over to help with the prescription and was just as helpful. The service is excellent. Thank you.

  I had to recently stop going to this pharmacy(HEB Summerwood) a couple months. I had been going here with no problem at all. Well a couple of months ago, it seems there was a pharmacist change as I was informed, now all of a sudden I was questioned about why I was picking up on that side of town as well as told I couldn't pick my meds up until tomorrow. Now my insurance company as well as my doctor said it was time for my meds to be filled. Now it is a problem. She(Asian female pharmacist) treated me like I was a seeker and keep stating "patient safety". So I told her why I had been having my meds filled on this side, because my doctor was on this side and recommended this particular pharmacy because there was a shortest at the time. He said they had been very good with his patients and he was absolutely right until 2 months ago. So she started questioning me like I was pharmacy hopping and telling me what I need to do like I needed to have my meds filled on my side. I told her my doctor was on this side of town for yrs and he had just moved his practice to another side of town. I HAD chose to stay until I was met with her attitude and accusatory tone. I am in the Healthcare field myself and I try to get to know my patients especially the ones that come all the time. She did no such thing. So when she told me, "Oh you can pick your medication up tomorrow". I had a problem, this was not an early filled per my doctor(whomever is very strict) and my insurance company, it was on time like the rest if the times. I want pharmacists like this to know that we are the ones suffering due to their bias thinking. Everyone that takes medications are not seekers or hard to deal with. I have a lot of health issues and have dealt with a lot since 15yo and I am a fighter. After I advocated for myself she "DECIDES" she is going to give me my meds and then chastised me like I was a child, telling me the next time I pick up she will not fill until day 32. I did not say anything, I got my meds and left. I do want her to know that what she did and planned to do in the future with my meds is NOT about patient safety but all about her bias. Why? Because she would cause me harm and have me run out of meds and then I would be in a flare and end up the hospital with that "32 days"(this would be intentional in my opinion). So I was force, a repeat customer, to move my business elsewhere. If you start to lose customers, believe it....it is because of her. I pray she doesn't ever go through a teaspoon of the things concerning health issues that I have been through. I also pray that she is never looked down upon simply because of a certain type of med I am prescribed. She think I asked for this for my health to be the way it is.....I did not.

  My wife and I regularly shop here. We are happy with the fresh produce and the stock. We do not like the way the personal/curbside shoppers crowd and block the already crowded aisles. This service works better in large stores. Another irritating thing is the choice of music. It is occasionally too loud and could be something more relaxing. How about classical music or music that illicits calm rather than music played in a club or bar.
