    This is the most unprofessional, sorry of an excuse of a medical establishment I have ever encountered. I have been coming to this pharmacy for YEARS. Staff was never unprofessional or rude. Long story short, my toddler has influenza a! He was extremely sick. We as parents are exhausted, burnt out, and have had NO SLEEP. Not to mention, I am 30 week pregnant! We took our son to a nearby urgent care, he tested positive for flu. The doctor there sent the prescription to this pharmacy. When I opened it up, the tamiflu, it looked less than halfway full. My husband and I were confused about this, but figured the medical professionals know best, and it’ll be enough. The instructions were to give him 5 ML, twice a day for 5 days. Easy right ? So as Christmas is approaching, I realized that the remainder that was left did NOT look enough. With everything being closed on Christmas, the last thing I wanted was to run out of his mediation. I called the urgent care thinking that maybe it was a mistake on the doctor part. Even over the phone she wanted me to measure out how many doses are left. We measured out 3 injections of 5 ml left, not enough for his whole dose. She said she sent 50 ml to the pharmacy. She kindly told me she will send more to them so I have enough for my son. I contact this pharmacy and was faced with so many questions by emerald. I kept being asked if basically I was sure that it wasn’t enough and that she was certain that they gave me 60 ml. I explained her that no it was not enough and that I’m not sure where they messed up on their part, but that we already paid for the dose they were supposed to give and we were not going to pay again. She asked if we could bring the bottle in, which we did . We told the lady there that we spoke with emerald and if we can quickly please solve this. She proceeds to come to the window and basically tells us that the amount in the bottle is enough for 6 doses lol. When I already took the freaking time to explain her that no, it’s not. She continues to seem baffled by this and that how could this be, they use a machine for the mixing there is no way that it’s not enough. Okay lady, we got the point that your machines are supposed to be absolutely perfect, never make mistakes. She continues to give us a hard time and is in denial that it can’t be the wrong amount. Things escalate from there when she keeps insinuating that what are me and my husband doing with the medicine. If I have already told you that it’s not enough, why can’t you people take the accountability, correct your mistake, and call it A DAY? I was exhausted, my son isn’t feeling good and we are being lectured by this lady quite frankly ! Things get ugly at the window and we tell her to just give us the remaining dosage PLEASE. We proceed to ask the girl at the window for the contact info to file a complaint against her, and she refuses to give it to us and proceeds to start screaming for us to “just drive off sir, drive off!” What????? This is how you treat customers? We did not come looking for trouble. If I already told this pharmacist over the phone wasted my breath explaining, it is absolutely unprofessional to question your patients and basically interrogate them! Horrible experience here! You should not be in the medical field with the kind of attitude you have.

    I have never felt the need to leave a review for this pharmacy. I have used them for months without an issue. Yesterday when I called I spoke to the new lady pharmacist who was truly abrupt and rude when I fell to answer one of her questions because I could not hear her. She repeated herself with a phrase stating “I said” to which I apologized stating I had not heard her question. Which she then proceeded to ignore. I guess being polite to long term customers is not a thing for people in her position? The first encountered I had with her was when I went in trying to get a vaccine, the lady at the counter was polite requesting me to wait for the pharmacist to get my vaccine, but I was told by the lady at the counter that the pharmacist could not help me because it was almost closing time. I wish they had not made me wait to then just tell me they could not help. Of course it was the same pharmacist who had answered my call on 01/08 around 4:36pm. Giving them two Stars because prior to this lady working here I had not encountered this type of situation at this location.

    I was at CVS for a while. After frustration after frustration I moved across the Street to HEB and have been happy since. Fast, professional and courteous.
