So much that's wrong with this Pharmacy, which is likely the worst in Clear Lake. Start with the terrible computer system which is incapable of managing refills in chronological order, and when combined with the below average staff it makes the buffoons at CVS look like geniuses. On top of that, the general incompetence and apathy levels of the staff are remarkable, which extends across all the staff, not just the usually incompetent GenZ's. And don't even bother with trying to get your meds around 5pm, the chaos of rush hour overwhelms every aspect of their process. I waited over 40 min for 2 scrips that were already supposed to be filled, and when it was finally filled the tech sent me to the back of the of the long line instead of ringing me up... Amazing levels of rude!

I’ll begin this review with an excerpt directly from the pharmacist “i still wanna check first, Because I think you filled other pharmacies.” This was her accusation to me about my early medicine refill. I’ve edited my review because it was too long, and I felt like it distracted and detracted away from the point that I wanted to make. My complaint is that the entire staff, while pretty good at smiling, was not very nice, I mean they were fake nice. But without ever having requested an early refill before or come up short or anything like that, they made me wait to the very day that I ran out of medication before they would let me refill my Klonopin. I don’t have to do that nor do they do that with everybody so you know I do have a couple tattoos I guess but my job causes me to wear buttoned up shirts and a tie and slacks so I don’t believe I looked like a junkie of some sort but Regardless, That’s how they treated me like some sort of junkie there for a fix and that they were the only Saviors standing in the way of complete disarray in our society as we would become overrun with junkies if not for them. They wielded their 1 inch dagger of authority, as if it were a mile long sword. Boy did they seem to love that authority. I will say that, despite all those things that I’ve mentioned, I would like to reiterate that they did say to my face, Well, not they but she the “pharmacist” Said: “That she was gonna go ahead and check around to make sure that I didn’t already fill this medication somewhere else and was coming here to try to fill it a second or maybe even a third time. THAT Was what I felt to be so egregious. I wasn’t exactly wearing my Sunday bus that day, but I didn’t feel like I was dressed in such a manner as to warrant that sort of an expression from someone which is why I’m leaving this comment. I think that lead pharmacist should be fired or whoever that blonde lady is back there or the very least somehow disciplined beyond just a verbal something maybe a written reprimand or some time off unpaid of course something I mean, but it’s hard. I’m gonna go talk to Jason about this one.

When it first opened I moved my prescriptions from Kroger to HEB on Clear Lake City pharmacy. Wonderful caring service . Now there is no service- I have to Count my pills - never leave until I have looked at everything because if you take something wrong it is yours - you cannot take it back . I called yesterday inquiring about a particular drug and was told to have my doctor call it in and then they would see if they have . I know I have different needs than most, but I want to know what I am getting. There is still one original person there that really makes a difference unfortunately he is only part time. Surely there is a better way to buy your medicine. I see why many take the direct mail option .

Yes I had very worst experience, some staff seems to be rude or they do not know how to resolve or they do not know how to approach an issue, I understand the medical system is complex, in this pharmacy 5 different people give 5 different information and when you mention it, they don’t make an attempt to look into it, they just brush it off, I don’t see their due diligence. If they don’t know they are not getting people involved. They gave me a run around for 1.5month for they not knowing what to do.they focus to clear the patient rather than care for them. I’m surprised they confidently give wrong information to patient. They use the word we are trying to help you, but the action is different either to shut you off and clear you off from the place, not helping you to get what you want. I am thinking of changing Pharmacy and escalating this matter further to the regional manager so they educate and train their employees to speak to patients with care, guide them and serve humanity.

It’s right down the street. I walk around the store to get my exercise. And I shop there of course.
