  I was double charged via my card and through my insurance for my mri. I've contacted Northstar many times about the double charge. I was told on 1/29 I would be refunded, by Shanna the billing manager. I received another call on 2/26 from Northstar when I was told I would receive my refund within 7-10 business days. It is now 4/8/26 and I'm still waiting on my refund. This experience has been such a hassle, I would not recommend Northstar to anyone.

  I spent several hours and made multiple phone calls just to schedule an appointment. Every time I called, I was told that my doctor hadn’t sent the order. However, the order had been sent correctly. When I insisted they check again, they were suddenly able to find it. On my final call, the experience was even worse. The representative didn’t even check my name for almost 10 minutes, gave random and unhelpful answers, and clearly wasn’t paying attention. I eventually had to ask if they wanted to check my name so they could actually help me. After all of this wasted time and frustration, I was finally told that they don’t even cover what my doctor ordered. This entire process was extremely inefficient, unprofessional, and exhausting. I would not recommend dealing with them unless you have a lot of time and patience.
