The fact that you deleted my comment from October 13th! Is nuts. I am posting our experience for the second time because we are a family that had this experience here and families deserve to know our experience.
We are now at an aba that understands that racism happens in black autism communities and weren’t pushed away for having real conversations.
But, I will not stop sharing our real experience here when you delete negative comments and kee only the good ones.
We attended this center for ABA therapy and my child was the one of two Black children there in the full-time program. That alone was not an issue, but over time we began to experience racism and a clear lack of cultural sensitivity and inclusion.
The environment often felt more like a daycare than a true ABA therapy center. Parents rarely interacted or asked about their children’s day, and there was very little sense of community or collaboration.
When I raised concerns about staff, the clinical director, Allison, showed very little care or urgency. I requested a meeting and was told she was on vacation. Instead, I was offered a meeting with Haley Pollard at the Grapevine location, but only if someone else sat in on the meeting, which made me feel stereotyped as an “angry Black woman” rather than a concerned parent.
Before that meeting, I asked to speak with my child’s BCBA, Chrisiana, and was told to my face by a staff member that she had already left for the day. I then asked a speech therapist, and she was able to get the BCBA, who was in fact still at the center but “not available.” This felt dishonest and dismissive.
Shortly after, I received an email from Allison saying it would be “best” for us to leave the center effective immediately or within the week. We had only been there about a month. The entire experience made it clear to me that this place is more money-focused than child-focused, and not a safe or supportive environment for Black families or those seeking truly inclusive ABA therapy.
I hope they take serious steps toward anti-racism, transparency, and true family-centered care, but based on our experience, I cannot recommend this center.
Our little guy has previously attended a few other ABA facilities before we were fortunate enough to stumble upon Allison’s Therapy Corner. This is the best find we could have made.
Since our little guy has started ABA services at ATC, our little guy has made significant progress. We could not be more pleased. ATC keeps the staff to client ratio low, therefore your child is able to receive the one-on-one attention that most kids are in need of.
Victoria is our little guy’s BCBA. Victoria is very thorough and attentive to her kiddos. Victoria is willing to make any necessary changes to assist the client with their challenged areas. Victoria puts your mind as a parent at ease with effective communication, resources. ATC has an open door policy if a parent has questions, suggestions, or concerns for any reason.
ATC’s entire staff will work with you to provide your precious one the tailor made therapy services to provide your little one the best care possible.
The parent sessions are so educational and informative. Victoria takes time to share feedback, provide additional in-depth progress notes during the parent sessions. Victoria is very intentional in receiving feedback, suggestions, etc, from the parents.
Having said that, the entire staff at ATC is very polite, caring, and professional.
Our little guy has never been happier. He is growing so much.
If you are on the fence about starting services with Allison’s Therapy Corner, I assure you as a parent, you will not regret the decision to trust ATC with the care of your precious little one. Not to mention ATC is also Christian based, which was also a major determining factor for us as well.
ATC provides ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, & Occupational Therapy, which means your precious one would be able to receive all necessary services at one location.
Please give ATC a chance to change the life of your family. You will be amazed!
Don’t delay, call today.

We have absolutely loved our time at ATC! We have not only seen so much progress in our daughters skills and ability to communicate and self regulate, but the love and care from the staff brings us so much peace of mind. We are always kept in the loop about what is happening and spend a lot of time collaborating on our child’s care.
We have had a great experience working with BCBA’s Megan and Haley. If you have a child on the spectrum you know how special it is to have people connect and love your child just as they are. The behavioral techs are also very kind and communicate well on how the day has gone. At pick up they always want to know how she is (did she sleep? Eat? Rough morning?) and each day at pick up we get a good summary of how the day has gone. The therapist always give a good breakdown and sometimes spend extended amounts of time just chit chatting about our daughter. It is such a joy to hear stories and see pictures of the daily antics in the clinic!
What really makes this place shine is the collaboration between the speech therapist and the ABA team. My daughter has seen a variety of speech therapist over the years but we had seen very little progress until now. Speech Therapist Elise Holder took the time to truly understand how my child processes language and developed a plan that worked for her. Hearing my daughter go from simple one word request to putting together 2-5 word sentences has been incredible. The more my daughter has been able to express herself, the less time she spends frustrated.
ATC is always transparent and communicative. They don’t shy away from letting us know when our daughter has had a rough day. No matter the behavior or intensity, we’re never made to feel like a burden. Instead, her team is proactive and thoughtful in coming up with solutions tailored to her needs.
After working with many different therapy centers over the past seven years, finding Allison’s has truly been a blessing for our family. Her team is always advocating for her, be it fighting insurance for hours or flagging concerns that might warrant a doctor’s visit. All issues are addressed head on. It’s rare to find a place where the staff not only care so deeply about your child’s progress, but also treat every family with compassion and respect.

If you’re looking for an ABA center that truly cares, this is the place to go! The ATC team is incredibly supportive and trustworthy. The team takes the time to understand each child’s unique needs and celebrate every success, big or small. They create an environment where both children and families feel safe and valued.
