  I needed my first root canal and decided to use Oakwood Endodontics after reading some online reviews. Dr. Derek Lin was absolutely amazing! He is respectful, attentive and very knowledgeable. The procedure was painless- I could not believe it. His assistant, Lily was so kind and really made me feel comfortable. Christy ( in the front office) and the entire staff were so friendly and kind. I 10 out of 10 recommend Oakwood Endodontics!

  I'm extremely impressed with Oakwood Endodontics. My experience there was perfect. They somehow even made getting a root canal a positive thing. Dr. Bjarnason, who I'd already seen was highly qualified and competent, was also thoughtful, personable, and considerate. He took the time to listen and to explain clearly my options and what he was doing. The office receptionists were pleasant, friendly and very competent as well, making the whole process a good experience. I highly recomment Oakwood Endodontics.

  Oakwood Endodontics was exceptionally professional from beginning to end. The administrative staff was very cordial, efficient, helpful and customer oriented. A great first impression to the patient. The ease of making an appointment was noteworthy. My operative procedure was equally efficient and effective. Dr. Lin and his staff were on time, and efficiently executed the procedure. Dr. Lin and his assistant kept me informed in detail on the procedure and ensured I was comfortable throughout the process. I strongly recommend Oakwood Endodontics to anyone requiring this service. They are simply outstanding. It will be hard to find another organization better than Oakwood.

  My experience with Oakwood Endodontics was very positive and should I need such specialized help again I shall gratefully return . The entire office staff was very helpful as were the assistants who kindly helped me move from room to room. Dr. Lin was especially kind and informative as he went about working on my tooth which was in much need of a root canal. I had a painless experience from beginning to end. He explained everything he did and didn't do as he prepared me to return to my general dentist for a crown. I was extremely fortunate in being seen by Dr. Lin and I highly recommend him to anyone needing an endodontist. Thank you Dr. Lin and everyone at Oakwood Endodontics. M.Sebastian

  I went to Oakwood to see Dr. Lin after receiving a bad root canal and crown from another dentist. I was extremely nervous and honestly pretty upset because I had been dealing with pain and complications for almost a year. I’ll even admit I walked in with a bit of an attitude — I was frustrated, in pain, and had already spent a lot of money trying to fix the issue. From the moment I arrived, the Oakwood staff immediately put me at ease. Everyone was professional, kind, and incredibly accommodating. They were knowledgeable and took the time to really listen to my concerns. Dr. Lin performed a full exam and asked detailed questions about how the previous dentist had completed the procedure. We both came to the conclusion that the previous dentist likely didn’t use a safety cover (rubber dam), which allowed an infection to develop under the tooth. What impressed me the most was how thorough Dr. Lin was. The practice has a 3D X-ray machine that my insurance didn’t cover, but instead of retreating the tooth blindly, Dr. Lin offered to waive the fee so he could get a clear and accurate picture of the infection area before moving forward. On the day of the procedure, everything was on time and the treatment was done comfortably with no pain. As I walked out of the building, I told my husband I could already feel the pain starting to decrease. By the very next day I was partially eating on that side, and within four days the pain I had been dealing with for almost a year was completely gone. I am incredibly grateful and so thankful for the Oakwood team and Dr. Lin. If you’re nervous about dental work or dealing with complications from another dentist, I highly recommend them.
