I absolutely love Pure Barre Georgetown! PB-GTX is welcoming from the moment you walk in. The classes have a great mix of people ages 16+, fitness levels, and backgrounds. The energy is always positive and uplifting, and the members and instructors make you feel like you’re part of a real community.
What really sets Pure Barre apart for me is the focus on micro movements. After dealing with quad activation failure, muscle atrophy after my knee surgery, I needed a safe and effective way to rebuild strength. I used to be all about HIIT workouts and honestly didn’t think this style would be challenging enough. But I was SO wrong. The low-impact, high-intensity format has been a total game-changer. It’s helped me activate and rebuild my quads in a way I didn’t think was possible.
Now, 1 year and 4 months later, I’m still coming 4–6 times a week because I’m completely hooked. The results speak for themselves, and I’ve never felt stronger or more supported. If you’re looking for a workout that’s effective, encouraging, and truly for everyone—this is the place!

I really enjoyed the experience. It was really cool getting to try a free class before making any decisions. Dalia reached out to me prior to the initial class to get to know me better and find out my goals. Everyone was super nice and informative and there was never any pressure to commit. I think overall they really just want you to come in and see if it’s a fit for you. I have never done any kind of class workout setting before and I’m a shy and introverted person but I immediately felt at ease and enjoyed a great workout. Also they put my name on the welcome board. Idk why but I found it so sweet and personable!

I have been practicing barre for 10 years in multiple studio around the country. By far and away pure barre Georgetown leads the pack. The warmth and attention of every single instructor and associates kept me coming back now on average 5 times a week! I am grateful!

I love Pure Barre. Over 70 and having a ball! Love crushing the goals they set up for us. Instructors are always assessing the class for encouragement, modifications if needed . The community it brings is great to make it through some tough classes. But that is where the muscle makes progress and gets you to your goal of strength and balance. The instructors make it fun and talks us through the tough moments…..”that’s why your here, to change and strengthen, only 10 more seconds….”
Helps you focus! I would encourage you to give it a try… I promise you will love it!!

Pure Barre saved me after an exercise rut of 3 years after I got long COVID! I love the energy of this studio, from Dana the manager with the warmest smile to Dahlia & Sam the owners who are very receptive to feedback to all the amazing instructors (looking at you Sarah, Marissa & Kendall!) to the other people who attend class, this place is so uplifting and positive from Day One. I had only done barre one time before years ago but the instructors here are so great at correcting form and answering questions after class, and I got a lot of help from other attendees.
After just 10 classes, I began to notice changes in my body and I lost 7.5 lbs the first month with 14 classes. I sleep better, my mood is better, my flexibility is better and I’ve made friends (I call them my “barre friends”) along the way. The other attendees range in age from early 20s to retirement age and all sizes & levels of fitness. The workout is challenging for EVERYONE and the 50 minutes (from warmup to arms/back, legs, seat, abs, stretching) goes by so quickly. Additionally, there are lots of modifications you can make to the exercises if you have an injury or similar.
The instructors are absolutely wonderful. One is a former professional cheerleader, one is a pelvic floor physical therapist (hello Kegels!), one is a former swimmer, one is a former yoga instructor and almost all of them took Pure Barre before teaching and many of them take the others’ classes on their times off which is a testament to how much they believe in the workout.
I was worried about parking at Wolf Ranch but it’s never been an issue.
After 2 months and 30 classes, I’m still every bit as enthusiastic about my experience. The whole studio is so warm and welcoming and there is a mix of regular clients and new attendees. They have 4 different class formats to choose from and evening & weekend class options for those of us who work or simply refuse to be vertical at 5:45 AM.
If possible, try a Foundations class early on or watch one of the Pure Barre Foundations videos online to get an idea of some of the basic terminology (such as tuck, freeze, hold, down an inch/up an inch) and moves. Wear leggings to keep your legs warm and help with use of the double tube. And don’t forget some grippy socks!!
