- DDDavid Davia5 days ago5.0We had a perfectly wonderful New Year’s Day. My wife has dementia and I was surprised when she mentioned that her mother used to serve black-eyed peas and stewed tomatoes. Our caregiver found out what kind of meat and greens her mother used and what she served with the meal. Then she arranged for us to enjoy a hike at beautiful Lake Georgetown along with a picnic lunch!! I’m not POSITIVE the meal brought back memories of her mother’s cooking; but she ate three bowls of the black-eyed peas. I really appreciate the genuine concern and care extended by Home Watch
