I’ve been taking my son to Allergy Partners since he was a baby, and he’s now eight years old. We’ve had a consistently wonderful experience over the years.
The staff is always courteous, respectful, and genuinely caring. Even on difficult days, their kindness and professionalism never go unnoticed. They create such a welcoming and positive atmosphere, which truly makes a difference for both me and my son.
I’m very grateful for the care and service they provide to our community. Highly recommend!

My wife went for a allergy test and got more answers then expected by Dr Alvarez and really appreciated his professionalism and care he provided.
When I booked the appointment and provided my insurance information, no one mentioned anything about the cost of the office visit. When I arrived, they recommended several tests but never disclosed the pricing beforehand. There was no transparency at all—they simply told me to proceed.
Later, I was shocked to receive a bill of around $700. When I questioned it, I was told that the patient is responsible for the cost. However, the issue is that they never informed me of these charges in advance or gave me the option to decide.
It feels very misleading. If you don’t specifically ask about pricing, they will not tell you and will just bill you afterward. This puts patients in a difficult situation—either pay the unexpected bill or risk it going to collections and affecting your credit.
Be aware and protect yourself. Ask detailed questions about every charge before agreeing to anything, or consider going somewhere else to avoid this situation
I had a very frustrating experience at Allergy Partners of Texas. Patients should be aware that there is a serious lack of transparency when it comes to pricing.
Before any office visit or testing, they do not clearly explain the costs or give an estimate. Instead, they proceed with services and only afterward do you find out you owe hundreds or even over a thousand dollars.
This puts patients in a very difficult position, especially when trying to make informed financial decisions about their healthcare. Medical providers should always communicate pricing upfront, or at least give patients a chance to approve costs before moving forward.
I strongly recommend asking detailed questions about all charges beforehand, because they will not voluntarily provide that information.
I have had 18 anaphylactic reactions to sesame, sesame seeds, sesame oil, etc over the last 8 years, landing me in the hospital multiple times, and having to use my epi-pen a few months ago because my body was literally shutting down. Went in hoping to identify any other food allergies that I may have, only to find out that they will only test to confirm known allergies. Long story short, I think their practice is bogus, the on-site skin-prick test for sesame was negative, and the lab results showed a "minor" allergy to sesame... I would love to ingest sesame at their office and have them tell me to my face that I have a "minor" allergy to sesame... Stay away...
