  There was an immediate need for hospice care and Miriam and the team at North Star hospice answered the call . When I say immediate they are the representation of that . Very caring throughout the entire process. They made my choice look like the right choice.

  This is such a wonderful, personable hospice company. I had the pleasure of working with Meagan yesterday and she was amazing and so knowledgeable with my family and resident that I was working with. Meagan expedited things quickly as time was of the essence. My family was very impressed! I highly recommend North Star Hospice for your loved one.

  When we were told we needed to consider hospice for our loved one, the prospect was overwhelming. It’s an emotional time and the last thing I wanted to do was pick a company. Between looking online for local companies and the recommendation of the hospital, we came across North Star Hospice, and they were ABSOLUTELY the right choice. The fact that they were local to Galveston was so reassuring. Tiva was so quick, accommodating and warm - we had the details rounded out within an hour of our initial phone call and it made it so easy. Suzanne and Ariel were amazing and never hesitated to answer our questions (even at odd hours!) The care and attention given by the entire team at North Star Hospice made it possible to give our loved one the best care in his final days, and we will be forever grateful to them.

  We want to thank you for the love compassion understanding and professionalism during the hardest time in our life! Because of you, Suzanne, Tiva & y’all’s team (and Jesus!) my sisters wish of dying at home could happen … we had the PRIVILEGE of caring for her ….. although grieving we are at peace because of the hands on care hospice allows!   There are no words to describe the helplessness and sorrow watching a parent dying. I was lucky to find a team with North Star Hospice, they helped us through pain management, best practices, and a level of care that was beyond expectations. Suzanne was very responsive, she cared for my dad like her own, it felt like she was part of my family. She’s very knowledgeable, hands on, caring, dependable, and her level of execution is impeccable. She is the MVP of the team. I would also like to highlight Antoinette, she has a heart of gold and was on point and quick to pivot when she saw my dad in pain. She immediately called the team into action when she noticed changes with my dad. I highly recommend North Star to care for your loved one.
