Called and spoke to Sam, who was extremely rude and unhelpful. Continued to speak over me, raising his voice and was not listening to my questions. All i wanted was to order a new pair of glasses with the same prescription i used last time and hhe just did not seem to understand the question. telling me its a hipa violation and they cant provide that even after i said, well what if i walk in and say, i want to buy these glasses with the same prescription i used last time. he got angry, raised his voice and told me NO. terrible customer service here. shopping elsewhere

i went with my mom to get her glasses cut. She doesn't wear contacts or anything like that, but my main frustration was that the lab technician isn’t available until after 2 p.m? The inconsistent hours of the technician can be a bit of a hassle, especially for customers like us who need glasses cut earlier in the day. It would really help if the technician could come in earlier, since it seems only one person handles that. Overall, the experience was positive and the staff did a great job, but that small issue with the technician's schedule was a bit irritating, especially since we’re forced to pretty much come in later or just be without glasses until they arrive.

I came to the store after ordering online and getting my order cancelled. They tried getting what I ordered but once getting to the final order screen it would tell them the frames weren't available. Even tho it say add to cart. So the manager came over and said don't give up. He ended up calling like six regional LensCrafters across the country and finally came across one that had a pair in stock. He really came through in the clutch. Highly recommend this LensCrafters location. I will keep shopping here year after year. Thank you for all the help.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
