I’ve gone to LensCrafters for over 20 years, and I will never go back to them again. They don’t care about the well being of the customers, and they do nothing to try to help their customers. I bought a pair of glasses for just under $500.00, and didn’t buy the insurance for them, because I never do, because purchased insurance is easy and free money, for most businesses. If I’d had purchased the insurance, it would have recently expired anyway. I damaged my glasses, and took the back to see if the damaged lens could be repaired or replaced. I was informed that it couldn’t be repaired, nor could I purchase one single lens, to replace the one lens that I damaged. I was told that both lenses had to be purchased and replaced for over $330.00, and there were no other options. I understand that I didn’t buy insurance, but insurance wouldn’t do me any good, because the one year in which it would’ve helped had expired. When a companies only interest is their bottom line, and not the people that buy their products, then they will not ever get my business again. They are corporate and hard hearted, and have no interest in trying to do the right thing. I don’t expect anything for free, but I don’t expect to be screwed over by a corporation either! I suggest that people think long and hard about buying glasses from LensCrafters, if they want to be treated fairly. They don’t care how long you’ve been a good customer, it’s all about the money!

We had a great experience at lens and crafts in stonebrair mall . Rony was very friendly and professional, and the service was quick and efficient. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure I got exactly what I needed. Really appreciate the attention to detail and excellent customer care. Highly recommend this place!

⭐☆☆☆☆ - Extremely Disappointed I had a terrible experience with my recent LensCrafters purchase and would caution others before ordering. **What went wrong:** I ordered Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 glasses, but the problems started immediately upon delivery: 1. **Wrong product delivered** - Received Gen 1 instead of the Gen 2 I paid for 2. **Incorrect size** - The frames didn't even fit properly 3. **Defective transitions** - The transition lenses weren't working at all 4. **Poor quality control** - How do three major issues slip through? After all these problems, I had to go through the hassle of returning them. The entire experience was incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. For the price point LensCrafters charges, this level of service and quality control is unacceptable. I expected much better from a well-known optical retailer. **I cannot recommend LensCrafters based on this experience.** Save yourself the headache and consider other options. **Status:** Returned for full refund

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
