Laurence was the optician at Stonebriar Mall who waited on me on January 12, 2026. She is simply amazing!! First, she took my most recent prescription glasses which were continually slipping down my nose and adjusted the frame around the ears so that they are now snug. Second, she was able to fix and restore to new condition the frames of my secondary glasses which my dog had chewed on yesterday. Third, she was able to locate the exact frame style that I wanted and ordered for me a new set of glasses with my most recent (2025) prescription at an extremely reasonable price. She provided the best service of any optical store I have ever been in.

This place is a joke. We have been here almost every year to just see if anything has changed with customer service. Very arrogant staff and specially manager or in charge in the evenings is the worse guy.

Staff were all very friendly. Sam was especially helpful in helping to choose and order glasses. My only complaint is that two pairs of glasses were a little over $700. That seems ridiculous to me.

This was a highly unprofessional experience. After a 3-week wait for new glasses, I found out they were never ordered. To make matters worse, the store tried to pass off a scratched shelf pair as new, despite the $500 price tag. I was able to return it, but the lack of accountability and respect for the customer is concerning. I will not be returning.

I ordered NEW glasses, after 3 weeks of waiting, they forgot to order it, they tried to give us the one off the shelves with scratches. Truly unbelievable and very disrespectful. I paid 500 dollar for a used. Thankfully i was able to return it and thank God i know i will never ever have business with this store.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
