- SHSelina HillOct 17, 20252.0I shop between two Tom Thumb’s weekly, but this one is the worst by far. The tagged prices don’t often match the price the item rings up as. Don’t count on the manager to honor the price or make it right, she’ll just look at you like you are inconveniencing her, offering no resolution or accountability. The grocery pickup service at this store is subpar. They seldom offer substitutions if they are out of an item. On the slim chance they offer a substitution it will not be an item that is equal in price or on sale (if it’s a sale item), they will offer you choices that cost 4x’s the price of the originally chosen item. This store is bigger than the other Tom Thumb near me and usually has a better variety of items, but I think I am done with this store. I like shopping at Tom Thumb weekly, but I may have to switch the store that I shop at weekly all together…maybe I’ll do my weekly shopping at H-E-B. This store has the worst customer service by far and has really tainted my view of the store brand!
