I have used this location a few times. The previous visit a few years ago had me swearing I would never return. Due to insurance, I reluctantly went again. I was greeted by Monica with a smile. I explained to her about my last experience and she went above and beyond. She is caring and attentive. Please celebrate her because she deserves it! Thank you Monica for changing my mind about LensCrafters

Cierra, Maci, and Monica were all very helpful in helping me pick a frame after my eye exam. They helped me with what looked best with my face (especially after having my eyes dilated!) Cierra showed me her personal glasses to help me decide what type of lens I wanted and everyone was very professional. Will definitely be going back next year!

Monica is amazing at Presidio Towne Crossing. Over the last 3 years she listens, reviews insurance benefits, and finds the right fit for each customer. No matter how busy, she makes time for each of her customers. We'll groomed in company policies, understands the insurance process, and helps customers feel assured of each purchase. I've purchased 4 pairs of Prada glasses from her. And loved each pair. Ms. Monica, thank you!

Went in to get glasses for my son. The first woman was very loud and boisterous. She was pushy and aggressive. She then passed us off to another woman who asked my son if he was still in high school. When he responded yes to her question. She said CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVENT DROPPED OUT YET! These women are very unprofessional I would go as far to say the second woman was racist and would be better served working on a used car lot not selling glasses to families especially selling glasses to children! When my son returned to car with his father because after her comment it was in all of our best interest for me to leave the store he asked me if the woman asked him that because he was black. I will NEVER return to this store.

Unprofessional customer service during first visit
This was my first visit to this LensCrafters location and also my first time purchasing eyeglasses. I arrived with a valid prescription and my insurance cards. The sales associate, Gill, reviewed my insurance and confirmed that I was eligible for $0 Anti-Reflective Standard lenses and $0 Polycarbonate lenses. But then when I was just about to buy she started to oversell that they you need to may $34 because of the Premium Lens. When I am not asking for the Premium Anti Reflective lens, then why do you want me to cross sell it, whereas I told that my insurance only covers $0 for standard so give me that and after multiple rounds, then she says that your insurance says it's $0 but with us you need to buy premier only. So, it was knowing push.
As a first-time customer, I had several questions and wanted to ensure I stayed within my insurance-covered limits, as I did not have a high out-of-pocket budget. Unfortunately, throughout the interaction, the associate was dismissive and increasingly unprofessional. Rather than explaining options clearly, she responded in an irritated tone, asked confrontational questions, and implied that I was not understanding the process—placing the blame on me instead of providing guidance.
There was another associate present who appeared to be the manager. She was polite, professional, and handled herself appropriately. However, the negative behavior of the sales associate overshadowed the experience entirely.
I was accompanied by my family, and the interaction made all of us uncomfortable. I communicated calmly that the experience was not positive, but the situation did not improve. For a first-time customer, this was not the level of service I would expect from a brand like LensCrafters.
I am sharing this feedback so corporate leadership can review the customer service standards and provide appropriate coaching. First-time customers should feel supported and informed—not discouraged or disrespected.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
