- CBC BMar 7, 20261.0This pharmacy is a nightmare!! Service takes forever and everyone looks upset. Wish I could switch but my insurance doesn’t support Walgreens across the street.
- ADAnderson DzouzaFeb 9, 20261.0Went to pick up a prescription that showed a discount online—HEB listed as an accepted pharmacy, RXBIN and all. I even brought receipts… well, screenshots. At the counter, the price had magically doubled. When I asked why, I was told it “doesn’t show that way on our end” and that HEB is apparently no longer in contract. Fascinating how that information only exists behind the counter. Also curious why a coupon that lowers the patient’s cost wouldn’t be accepted. I assume margins matter more than transparency. If money is tight, maybe skip the oversized plastic bag with the fancy lettering for a medication that comfortably fits in the palm of my hand. Renovations aren’t cheap, I hear.

At pickup, the price was double. When questioned, the explanation was that HEB is “no longer in contract.” Funny how that disclaimer appears only after you’re standing at the counter, not where patients actually make decisions. Refusing a coupon that lowers the patient’s out-of-pocket cost while offering no advance notice feels less like a policy issue and more like a business choice. Disappointing, but I suppose shiny renovations aren’t free.
