  Almost every time I have contact with this pharmacy there is a problem. On Thursday night I used the app to request a refill of a prescription. At 4:45pm on Friday I looked at the prescription on the app and it said it was in process for 2 pills. I thought there was a problem so I called the pharmacy. A pharmacy trainee said that because I had used the app and not called them nothing had been done on it and then complained to me that it was probably too late on a Friday afternoon to get a doctor to respond. They should have called early in the day. Earlier in the week they had told me that a prescription had not been called in by my doctor. I believed them and called my doctor. They said it had been called in the day before and gave me the time. I called back and got a different employee. Oh yes, it was there and could be ready to be picked up later that day. In addition to that I was told by the head pharmacist that they would no longer fill my prescriptions for a controlled substance because my doctor prescribes it for 3 months at a time and that is too many pills. He said it makes their store subject to too much scrutiny. This is the final straw. I need a new pharmacy.

  I’m writing to express ongoing frustration with repeated service issues at this location. For months I have had to make multiple trips to pick up medications because of preventable oversights. On my most recent visit I stood at the counter after the customer ahead of me was assisted, and the staff member walked away without any acknowledgement. Mary remains the strongest and most consistent employee she provides excellent service every time. In contrast, the pharmacist Nicky regularly asks unnecessary questions while remaining outwardly polite. The questions feel targeted towards certain customers it’s a lot to experience for simply picking up a prescription, which makes the process feel intrusive and frustrating. Overall, using this pharmacy requires far more effort than it should and has become a consistently negative experience.

  I have been going to this Tom Thumb Pharmacy for 15+ years and besides a wait time once in a while (which is expected when people go right after work about 5:30ish), I have never encountered a problem or had any staff here be rude to me. They're very nice, professional and courteous.
