I’m writing to express ongoing frustration with repeated service issues at this location. For months I have had to make multiple trips to pick up medications because of preventable oversights. On my most recent visit I stood at the counter after the customer ahead of me was assisted, and the staff member walked away without any acknowledgement.
Mary remains the strongest and most consistent employee she provides excellent service every time. In contrast, the pharmacist Nicky regularly asks unnecessary questions while remaining outwardly polite. The questions feel targeted towards certain customers it’s a lot to experience for simply picking up a prescription, which makes the process feel intrusive and frustrating.
Overall, using this pharmacy requires far more effort than it should and has become a consistently negative experience.

This pharmacy is horrible. Imagine me fresh out of wisdom tooth surgery and the medicine my dentist called in the day before not being ready so I'm standing around with my mom swollen and bleeding from the mouth because instead of filling it the day before, they hadn't even started on it. Then, imagine my dentist calling in another prescription later that day because of complications and them telling me they don't know what I'm talking about the next morning.
I transferred my prescription.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Based on my experience, I tend to prefer Tom Thumb pharmacies better than most others compared to pricing and service.
Clean store front with plenty of parking. Easy access.

I have been going to this Tom Thumb Pharmacy for 15+ years and besides a wait time once in a while (which is expected when people go right after work about 5:30ish), I have never encountered a problem or had any staff here be rude to me. They're very nice, professional and courteous.

I go to this Tom Thumb sometimes because they have a generously stocked 50% off section, full of damaged cans and boxes of food that are otherwise fine.
That being said, sometimes they don't notice that they've damaged things that are already discounted, and, like I was this evening, you might be treated to a 5 minute haggling discussion involving 2 managers while they figure out how to charge you enough for something that was discounted more than they intended. I fully accept and commend Tom Thumb for catching me jumping through a pricing loophole.
But---if we are actually going to nickel and dime this one out, 5 minutes of time spent by one regular checker and 2 managers equals out to WAAAYYY more than the price of a discount on 2 boxes of Rice-A-Roni.
