  I write this review with a heavy heart. I signed up for the 3 class package for $60 with intent to join Soulcycle. I was ready to be challenged, sweat, and have a good time doing it. I arrived 15 minutes early as advised and made my request to rent shoes as I am new to cycling. The young lady that greeted me was pleasant. She gave me my shoes and handed me off to another young lady. The greeter told me that the young lady would get me set up on my bike and explain the basics to me. I went to the locker room area and put on my shoes. I sat for about 5 minutes and went back to the reception desk to make sure I understood that the young lady would come and find me. The greeter said yes. The reason I approached again is because the young lady that was supposed to set me up on my bike barely looked at me when the greeter introduced me to her. I felt dismissed. So I went and sat right in front of the classroom door. I watched as everyone filed in. I watched as class started. I finally got up and walked into the classroom. The young lady that was supposed to help me was waiting there…in the room. I was shocked. We then had to try to set up my bike with no light because as I said class had started. I am 5´11. The bike was not set up for me even after she halfheartedly tried to set it up in the dark. I will say the shining star in this not so great experience was the instructor Mattie. She acknowledged that she saw me waiting before class started and was unaware that it was my first class. She was positive, upbeat, and motivating. I will be honest with you. I felt I was treated dismissively because I am a woman of color. I would encourage other women of color to be cautious before taking classes at this location. My personal philosophy is if my presence is not welcomed my dollars will not have a home in your business.

  LOVE LOVE LOVE! My favorite place to sweat my guts out, and all of the instructors are incredible! I've been attending classes for 3+ years now.

  TIU Challenge! Had to get my rides in even if I'm from out of town. The crew at the Dallas Uptown location was wonderful.
