  First impressions are lasting and my impression was not a positive one at all. By the grace of God, I never get ill (Thank you God) however, I some how pulled a muscle or hurt my back some kind of way. I had excruciating pain and could barely walk or sit up straight without wanting to cry or scream out loud. A good friend of mine recommended this clinic so I decided to try it out. I called first, bc I wanted to ensure they had the equipment to perform X-ray's for my back. I also wanted to know if I should go to the ER or if they could determine my issue. I was advised via phone that there were X-rays machines so I decided to come in. The P.A Lissette Diaz comes in after the Medical Assistant leaves, and basically says I can offer you an inflammatory shot, some pain killers, and that’s it. She didn’t perform a physical examination at all. Not once did she touch me or my back. She didn’t ask me to stand, stretch, perform any movements.She listened to what I told her and called in some medicine to CVS lol. She basically said the X-rays would be useless but I decided to proceed with them anyways. I shared my mobility is being affected and you don’t check for anything? I voiced these concerns to her and she said touching you will tell me nothing. I’m under the impression that they think I only needed a work excuse which I never did. I’m pretty respected at my job so an excuses wasn’t needed at all. I do not recommend Lissette for any heath care needs! It’s pretty sad that individuals enter the healthcare industry with the outlook and prejudices like her. Please try another clinic.

  I don’t typically leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at Elyson AFC Urgent Care today. I have been seen at this location in the past by other providers, and those experiences were positive—staff were attentive, empathetic, and professional. Unfortunately, my visit this afternoon was the complete opposite. The practitioner I saw was dismissive and unprofessional from the moment she entered the room. I came in with a severe pinched nerve in my lower back that I have been dealing with for four days—I can barely walk due to the pain. Despite clearly explaining my symptoms, I felt my concerns were not taken seriously. The treatment offered was limited to a pain injection and patches. When I respectfully asked about a more immediate and effective option (I am aware because I have suffered the same in previous years), such as a steroid injection, my request was denied in a very dismissive/careless manner. I was simply told to wait more 5-10 days and return if the treatment didn’t work, without any consideration of my condition. What stood out the most was not just the treatment decision, but the bad/superior attitude and lack of empathy, communication, and basic professionalism. This experience was disappointing, especially compared to the level of care I have previously received at this same location.

  I was in tremendous pain when I arrived. I was one of the first patients there, and was seen quickly. The NP, Dionnedra, was great and immediately knew what my issue was. Treatment was quick and effective! The entire staff was kind and efficient. Great experience overall!

  I would not recommend. Despite the urgent care being new, the level of service I received was poor. I arrived at 11am on Monday with 1 patient ahead of me and an empty office, only to not be seen until 12. Was prescribed ear drops for my ruptured eardrum. I initially had an issue being able to pick up my prescription which led to me having to call back to Urgent care. Here’s where it got weird. When I called back, a NP told me that it was a good thing that I didn’t pick up my prescription because I was NEVER supposed to be prescribed the ear drops and the prescription was mysteriously “canceled.” I can’t begin to imagine the harm this would have done had I gotten the prescription…….especially the idea of my hearing nor the feeling in my face never returning because of this error. I cannot, in good faith recommend this facility despite how new and seemingly professional that it appears.

  I Brought my 2 year old daughter here because she was sick and her doctors office had already closed. From the beginning the staff at the front desk was rude. Then from there I got a diagnosis that my daughter has a whooping cough without them running the appropriate test. They only tested for Covid. They prescribed a antibiotic but gave her way to high of a dosage for her age. It felt like they wanted to rush us out of there and were very careless in providing a good service. I have never given a negative review but their attitude, carelessness and behavior was super inappropriate. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use them unless they either train their staff and take some pride in the service they provide.
