- KRKelly ReffettDec 12, 20255.0Being new to Medicare, I was told I had to move from Walgreens (which I've used for at least 35 years), and I had to choose either WalMart or HEB pharmacy as my preferred to get the best pricing- same price at either store for each script. Reading the reviews, it seemed that it was customer service being a distinct difference. HEB came out ahead! I've always been only a dog food and chips HEB fan. So last weekend I stopped in HEB (n.Frazier) was pleasantly greeted, I explained my need to transfer all my scripts and that Walgreens told me HEB had to request the transfer. Not how it typically happens I'm told, but she smiled, took my info and said it would be taken care of asap. Today, 1 week since, I stopped in to check and get help with the app. Again, couldn't have asked for nicer, more patient Pharm staff, even with line of customers! I stepped aside and she multi tasked helping me with app and helping script customers. I ended up having to contact my PCP to update a few with HEB, which was all handled within hours and am at home and can see it all happened via the HEB app, Memorial Herm. and HEB texts. So far.....5 stars! Thanks to...My HEB, lol.

We don't get things our way all the time and its not on the pharmacy itself. They have to stick to the rules but I can say that this entire staff is amazing
