Our family had a wonderful experience with Clearfork Academy; from the initial calls with intake staff, to the staff at the residential treatment center, and all the way to the alumni team. All incredible people with a true passion for what they do. Our daughter attended the girls campus in Cleburne. I was honestly TERRIFIED to send my daughter to a treatment center with fear of how she would be treated and cared for, but I was more afraid of what could happen if we did not get a higher level of care for her. There are many personalities and it would be unreasonable to think there will not be conflict at a treatment center. The Director of Operations, Michelle, was completely transparent, kept parents informed, reassured that they take conflicts seriously, and kept true to the core values at Clearfork. The BHT's we interacted with were all great and a true blessing for the daily impact they make and have on the teens. Nursing was always great and responsive to my emails with questions. Our daughter had to switch therapists part way through, as her original one was leaving. Her new therapist, Cara, was great and did her best to find the answers if she did not know. She was able to pickup on things and learn so much about our daughter in a short time. She has a way of holding the kids accountable, while also gaining trust and comfortability quickly, which is such an important skill to have with such limited time in this setting. Mike from the alumni team took the time and had an honest conversation with me prior to admission. His words and understanding helped guide me in making one of the hardest decisions of my life. We traveled from out of state and put trust in Clearfork, and I am so glad we did.
Our daughter just graduated from Clearfork! She will be the one to make the choices in her life, but I feel so much better knowing that no matter what, Clearfork had an impact on her and she did take away and learn so many positive things and lifelong skills. We, as the parents, have also learned so much and had the time to learn how to take care of ourselves and focus on how to better understand and support our daughter, while also taking care of our own needs, which is one of the biggest things that has gotten lost over the years, but is absolutely essential.
Our daughter came home and had so many good things to say about the people at Clearfork.
Thank you, Clearfork Academy, for the support you have given us all and will continue to give us with the alumni team!
I am forever grateful for the love and care you have provided our daughter during her stay.

I just spent half the day with Joann Mahan helping me through the admissions process. I started my day as a hotmess and now I feel like there is a process and hope for my family. I cannot say enough about the caring attitude and gentle way in which she handled everything. She has giving me the comfort of knowing that I am doing the right thing and I know if the rest of the staff here are like her (which I feel confident they are) we will be on the road to recovery in no time. Thank you, Joann! You are an absolute blessing!
