I would give the Nursing Staff, my CT Scan Techs, & Dr. Elder 50+ STARS (10+ STARS EACH) if I could as they were BEYOND WONDERFUL & cared for me as though I was their beloved Family Member!!! I came in @ 12:30p.m. hardly able to walk w/excruciating pain in my left side (had for 1-1/2 days, thought I had bad gas pains & was taking Gas-Ex which didn't help @ all so finally decided I needed to go in). I got myself inside front door & immediately sat down in the wheelchair that was right there & called out for Help - ladies came running from behind the desk & from back in Urgent Care area to assess me & wheeled me immediately back to get care - What a GOD-send!!! My Nurses *Scott, & Dee & Dr. Elder were the BEST EVER and being 60yrs old I've had a lot of Hospital visits/Surgeries, ER visits & Urgent Care visits over my lifetime - this was Some of the BEST CARE EVER!!! I believe I was the only patient in the whole facility! I was diagnosed w/"small kidney stone that passed due to them giving me IV fluids to help it & I also had Nephritis/Inflammation of my kidneys & dehydration". Dr. Elder said I'd feel better in a few days & to drink lots of water & to stop taking too many of my high dose supplements because I was too small & had low weight! (I'd been taking thes spplmts to get better from covid) Dr. Elder said he felt my taking all these @ too high doses could have led to this kidney health problem!
♡♡I wanted to give Dr. Elder & Scott each HUGE HUGS for taking Such Excellent, Loving & Personal Care of me, but since I was just 12 days past initial covid outbreak, I refrained. (I'd Quarantined up in MN in a hotel & hadn't been able to see my elderly, beloved parents for 10 days, & then had to fly straight home on Wed., 7/13.) I share this personal info, because it MEANT SO VERY MUCH to me to have Each Staff Member's VERY LOVING CARE of me on Friday, 7/15 - their Care was SOO MUCH MORE MEANINGFUL & LOVING than I could EVER EXPRESS to them - ☆♡☆♡☆♡THANK YOU *Dr. Elder, *Scott, my Nurse, Dee-IV Nurse: *Thank You for findig a vein & your Great, low-pain IV placement!!!, Robin-CT Tech, Tabitha-EX Tech, and the Lovely Front Desk Admin. who Blessed me Hugely w/*Great News* about my insurance coverage on my way out!!!
At 5:30pm I got outside to my car & felt So Sick/Weak that I couldn't drive home. I called my friend who told me to go back inside & let them know. Went back in, told Nice Front Desk Admin. & asked her what I should do? Scott, my Nurse came immediately out to see what was wrong, & I told him I hadn't had anything to eat for over 24hrs & was SO Weak!!! He told me I could get checked back in, if I think I need to! I said No, I just need something to eat & water to drink. Scott told me he'd get me some things & ran to back & came out with snacks & water. ♡He then asked me if I'd like his apple that he'd brought for his dinner? I THANKED HIM IMMENSELY & said Yes, that would be Wonderful - he went to wash it, cut it up for me and served it on a paper plate w/napkins - it tasted like Heaven and made me feel better!!! (I finally reached my girlfriend & her son who came to drive me home & take my van home for me.) This "Family Emergency Room" (Family Hospital Systems) is Beautiful & Immaculate (upon leaving I saw the Beautiful Waiting Room area that looks more "Home-like" than regular sterile hospital settings & they have a hot drink station for those waiting.
☆☆☆I am feeling MUCH BETTER today & I THANK GOD for EVERYONE @ "FAMILY EMERGENCY ROOM" Urgent Care
facility from the *BOTTOM of MY HEART*!!!
♡♡♡♡♡♡HUGE HUGS ALL AROUND!!! 💓🤗💓🤗💓🤗💓🤗💓🤗💓🤗
Forever Greatful, Tracey Messner
