  My dad is a client of Home Instead in the Houston (& surround areas). He is a USMC veteran. His aide is Shalona Brown and to be honest, I don’t think that I could survive without her. I take care of both of my elderly parents so to have her for a few hours everyday to help with my dad is an absolute Godsend. My dad suffers from memory loss and she just goes with the flow of the same questions, the same stories over and over. She takes great pride in how she takes care of my dad both physically and mentally. She is extremely knowledge and keeps me updated on things that she sees that I will need to know later when she is not around. She is with us 5 days a week and my dad truly enjoys her company. T folks in the office are very accommodating. They stay in touch with phone calls on the regular to make sure that everything is good and they stay on top of my dad’s hours with the VA. I give the whole organization 5 stars.

  Outstanding service and genuinely caring caregivers. The team is professional, reliable, and communicates clearly at every step. Home Instead made a difficult situation much easier for our family. Highly recommended.

  Jennifer has been helping my parents more than two months since my Mom broke her hip. I was in a bind living a few hours away and having to return to work and caring for my daughter, and the owner put me at ease and got the ball rolling with assistance while my mom was still in the hospital recovering after her surgery. My dad is almost deaf even with a hearing aid and has memory problems. Home Instead helped him a few hours every afternoon with buying groceries, visiting my mom, etc. He had previously been driving, but the accident greatly affected him. Jennifer is wonderful with my Dad. Patient and kind, she brings out his humor and makes him feel at ease and accomplished. My mom has noticed all this since she got home, and Jennifer started helping with the both of them. My mom is very fond of Jennifer and says she is so impressed by her work ethic and the respect and attention she shows to her clients. She says that she feels that Jennifer has a calling to help people, admires her greatly, and is very impressed.

  I began getting caregiver services from Home Instead over a month ago. My caregiver, Allison, does a great job. She is punctual, very attentive to my needs without asking, friendly with our three dogs, does small chores and prepare meals. The owner of this location is very professional and accommodating. It’s been a good experience so far and an industry where some services are inferior.
