- BCBernard Conroy4 days ago1.0Donating here is fine, the employees are mostly good. What I am writing this for are the fees you are charged using their Fintwist debit card. When you get paid the money is put on a card. If you have to use an Allpoint ATM, this company has it set up to be charged a $1.50 fee to get your money. Since you can't get all of your money at one time, there are additional fees like, .50 for declined purchases. For example if you have $160 on your card and you try to take the $160 out, you get charged .50 cents for not having their $1.50 fee available. Plus at grocery stores you are charged .10 cents for any purchase that requires a pin. I havent found a store yet that doesn't. Also in the paperwork for the card it says that you can have your donor payments direct deposited for free. That does not include your payments prior to having your direct deposit activated by your bank. If you had any money on your card prior to getting activated then that money stays on your card. Any money you are paid after it is activated will be direct deposited for free. This Fintwist card has it set up to charge you and didn't miss a trick in getting their fees.
