  I have been going here for years and it was overall a great experience until they started having issues with their POS (point of sale) system. I was charged the annual fee of $54.11 which I paid and then was double charged 74.11 (still haven’t been refunded) again and they are now trying to bill me a third time. Super frustrating and disorganized, they cannot send me a list of my payment history even though I have provided my processed credit card and bank statements (bank statements do not show itemized credit card line items), their team cannot comprehend this and keeps over billing me. Ever since the new management came in, the overall quality of this gym has suffered tremendously.

  Could be a nice gym just very outdated machines not a lot of stuff targeted for women and kinda small parking is a pain and parking in the garage is an extra $17 a month pretty sketchy at night honestly if you’re looking for a nice gym that’s affordable with literally everything you need ymca townlake offers so much more and isn’t a pain in the butt too drive to or park and there’s tons of updated equipment

  The staff is great. I think there’s a good range of equipment and it’s a decent size for a gym in downtown austin. The machines are well maintained. I would say the only reason this isn’t a 5 star gym is because the locker room showers are super well maintained or consistent. I don’t know if this is something golds leadership can really fix except for being more timely with repairs. It would also be super nice if they added an ice machine or something.

  This is a great multilevel gym. Parking is provided next door for only $15 per month. That's dirt cheap for 2hrs every single day if you want it. Look, this is a downtown gym in a major metro area, it's gonna be busy. Pick your times wisely. Use your head But anyone complaining about this gym is out of their minds. I'm paying less, including the parking, than I did for a basic large gym in Daytona Beach. This one has a sauna. Staff is always at the counter to help. Plenty of drinks, nutrition snacks, proteins, etc available. They need more Jocko products! But they do have some. Been going for months and have had ZERO attitude from anyone. Compared to twice in Daytona I had to tell a couple of people to get bent. I never wanted to join Golds because I thought it was too trendy or whatever but I was wrong - this is the best gym experience I've had in the 30yrs I've been going to gyms - nationwide. One of the perks of moving to Austin is this gym. Now here's a pic of my dog:
