- KKkyJun 23, 20251.0After only allowing me to pick up half of my prescription saying my insurance won't cover it all at once, I reached out to my insurance company since they've covered it in the past. My insurance stated that all they needed was a prior authorization, which my pharmacy was made aware of. So, they just lied to me saying it was denied because they didn't want to have to reach out to my provider. All I was trying to do was get my prescription and understand what was going wrong and I they met me with so much aggression and even said that my prescription "didn't require prior authorization," which I know was a flat out lie because that has never been the case. Just a wild experience. Save yourself the headache and just choose a different HEB pharmacy.
