Besides the wide variety, high quality and availability of various types of products (groceries, pharmacy, personal care, diary, meat, wines, fruits, hot food, stationery etc) with great prices, the outstanding staff deserves also great compliments. For example in Pharmacy dept, Bert went promptly the extra mile to accomodate my requests while clearly explaining, being very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, positive, patient and caring. The Pharmacy is also open until 10pm (as the only Austin store with late pharmacy hours). At checkout, Aubree and Eyonna, despite the 11pm closing time, went also the extra mile to help with the process, very promptly, friendly, caring (with bags packaging & coupons), also being very thorough, fast and positive. The store is highly safe, the security team is watching promptly & vigilantly the place. This Red River store stands out among the already excellent HEB stores in Austin. I strongly recommend this place.

- LBLexi BentonDec 23, 20251.0They are refusing to refill a prescription I have gotten before because their system said I should have a little left but I don’t. My doctor sent the prescription in again when I told her this and they still refused to fill it without talking to my doctor verbally — leaving me unmedicated for now multiple days dealing with this. When I asked the pharmacy about getting an emergency dose of my (uncontrolled, non addictive, low dose, and medically necessary) medication I was still told they could not help me. I have never dealt with a pharmacy more difficult before. I will be switching pharmacies and filing a formal complaint after I resolve this issue.
