  Always a crap shoot as to whether they've filled rx my doctor sends in. I know my doctor is sending them. This has happened to my spouse as well. They're usually pleasant when I call, so I'll give them that.

  Finally switched to the CVS on Airport. Listen there are few pharmacies that crush customer service but dear lord this is the slowest pharmacy I’ve been to. Just staff avoiding eye contact while chatting with each other and the line grows longer and longer. Drive thru or walking in - I’ve never waited less than 15 minutes. There has to be a better way. Or at least apologize for waits and smile. Basic customer service would go so far.

  I hope pharmacy techs read these comments even if its once in a while. Your customer service skills and critical thinking skills need improvement. 9/10 times I've had bad experiences with this particular pharmacy. Seriously, do better. I can't suggest improvement in a particular area, since I've had to deal with this location so so many times that I can't narrow it down.

  I had my vet send a predniSILONE prescription for my cat to be filled here. After giving him the pills for 4 days, I read the bottle more closely and noticed it said predniSONE. I called my vet first, and they said to discontinue giving it to my cat immediately because, while the two drugs are similar, prednisone can’t be broken down well by cats, unlike humans, and can cause serious side effects if it builds up in their system. They confirmed that they wrote the correct prescription and advised that I call the pharmacy. When I did, they admitted to the mistake and said something to the effect of “well, the spellings are pretty close so I can see how they would have made that mistake.” After putting me on hold, she came back and said that I need to call tomorrow between 9am-5pm to speak with the manager to have a refund for the prescription issued. The refund is good, but I felt it important to warn folks that the pharmacist who filled this prescription failed at the most important part of their job - ensuring that the correct drugs are being distributed to the right people. My cat is doing fine, thankfully, but it scares me that the pharmacist could have made this mistake. I hope this hasn’t happened to anyone else with more serious consequences! Needless to say, I won’t be getting anymore prescriptions filled here and recommend that you don’t as well.
