1 day free trial pass to see if you like the gym?!! Crazy, guess they’re not trying to bring in new members. I’ll get a better trial somewhere else. Also first impression was “is this a club”..turn the damn music down. Everyone listens to their headphones, HELLO

This is the best golds in the area in my opinion. Great outdoor space. Lots of machines. Almost never wait for anything.

I want to be very clear, my 5 star rating is for one reason, Harrison. I’ve been working with Harrison for over a year and some change. He has helped sculpt my booty and strengthen my body so I can do life more comfortably. Not only is he brilliant but we have fun while working out. You won’t regret buying sessions with him.
The gym itself is lovely, and I’ve always had a good experience. I wish there was child care so that I might be able to carve more time for myself there. Also, would love an infrared sauna. ☺️

This is my favorite Gold’s location in Austin. Sometimes is too busy and there’s always a machine/equipment they could have more or better, but that’s to be expected on a commercial gym.
What makes this location stand out is its outstanding staff. From the GM, Moses, to the cleaning staff, such as Luis, they’re always welcoming, friendly and open to help or solve questions.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this Gold’s Gym location. I came in with a free guest pass to try the gym before joining, since it’s close to my school, but I was treated so poorly that I won’t be coming back.
When I walked in, I said good morning to the guy at the front desk (who I later found out is a manager), and he completely ignored it. From the start, his attitude was rude and unprofessional. Even though I had already signed up for the guest pass online, he made me fill it out two more times. He kept asking for my address and other information that I had already provided twice, online and in person again on their iPads, but he still made me repeat it all over again to him.
For a second I thought he wasn't going to let me workout there, because he told me I should go to a Gold’s Gym closer to my house—which is ridiculous. I guess picking the location that works best for me is no longer allowed? Instead of being helpful, he kept talking in a low, annoyed tone and made the whole check-in process way harder than it needed to be.
I don't know if he was having a bad day—there’s no excuse for mistreating people, especially if you’re a manager and supposed to represent the gym. I walked in planning to sign up for a membership, and I walked out knowing I’ll never spend a dollar at this location.
I’m a laid-back person, but I won’t tolerate being disrespected for no reason.
To the manager: if you’re reading this, you seriously need to work on how you treat people. This was a terrible first impression and a complete waste of my time.
