Spacious training area all on one floor. Ample equipment. Sauna is hotter than the Mojave Desert.

Not only do I get the run around from Shelby but the GM as well, Rick. Out of the two cards I had on file, they chose to charge the expired one. I still have yet to hear back from them about my membership and I always just so happen to “miss them” everytime I’ve called. I think a change in management and better leaders may do this place some good because it’s a shit show right now. Like how do you not have a manager on staff all day? Or at the least why do they leave at noon when you still have 10+ hours left in the day? Make it make sense… Maybe leaving a review of my experience will get me a callback on this matter?

Today 23 dec 2025. As I went to my 1st station.which was the 4 way machine . There was a gentleman there doing arms, pull-down And as I was going to get on the station next to him, which was free.He told me I couldn't get on it because he was also working on that machine as well.At the same time. I go to this gym so I can decompress, so I can destress.I don't go to the gym to have confrontation with other people. So I went up to the front and spoke to the gentleman upfront he didn't seem like he really wanted to go up there and say something to this guy. So I paid forty dollars for people to hog up two machines at the same time and not able to do the exercises that I want. So I got upset after I complained to the guy.I walk out and didn't get my workout in. So I called to the store like five or six times over a thirty minute period nobody would answer the phone. So I finally called back again. And the person upfront tells me that there's no manager, there's nobody to take a complaint. So I hung up. Wow, this is a great customer service, gym. So this gym just lets the members do whatever they want. While other members have no option.

This is the best gym experience I've ever had. And I've tried a lot of gyms/groups/classes over the years. Shelbee proactively reached out as soon as I joined (thanks to a discounted membership through my employer) I know that's her job, but she didn't have to also learn my name, or smile and wave every time she sees me, and ask how I'm doing. My complimentary personal training consult with **JOSE MARTINEZ** turned into 6+ months of sessions thanks to his authentic personality, extensive knowledge, positive/professional coaching style, and going above and beyond to make sure I'm valued as a client - he's also proven that he has my back in general and continues to motivate me to meet long term fitness goals - the dude even ran my first 5k with me!! Jose is just a solid human being, I can't say enough good things about this guy - just train with him if you can. Kevon brings genuine joy to the front desk. Alexa is the perfect blend of approachable and infectious energy - try ZUMBA it's so fun and the playlist is now in my Favorites. Sharon also teaches a SUPER chill yoga class. The Southeast Team seems to sincerely want to know how members are doing and actively celebrate progress; they're focused on people not sales. Because of that, they created a family vibe (not a cliche marketing gimmick) so there are a ton of regulars and friendly faces - it's not just me. The best visit was my first Zumba class where a bunch of staff/trainers joined too - it was hilarious and they brought playful energy. I was not sure about joining a gym again, having a male trainer, or trying Zumba. Especially at 40. But I'm glad I tried and stuck with it. Plus the place is clean, lots of equipment (never had an issue waiting for anything), dedicated area for stretching, a sauna and spacious locker room, parking lot is huge. The last gym I joined I went like 3 times and cancelled after a few months. I know for a fact this time is different - because of Jose especially - but the staff is what brings me back every week. And there are DEFINITELY times I've been tempted to skip and keep driving to P. Terry's! Now I train, theeeeen get P. Terry's lol
