I normally love going to this gym, but recently the women’s room sauna has been out of order for several weeks and 4 out of 6 of the stair-masters are now out of order as well. I do hope management addresses these issues sooner than later.

The weekday AM crew are beyond rude. Especially this new kid. Three times now he shows up 5 min before opening. Has to be let in then he scrambles to get his little scanner set up and then isnt ready. Today he left the door open so about 10 of us came in. He wasnt ready for us. At 6 he still wasnt ready so I went in the gym. He chases me down telling me to scan. So, I scan. He is mad dogging me as I do this. As Im leaving there he is mad dogging me again.
I say "See you tomorrow."
He says "Probably not."
Kinda sounds like a threat to me.
I told him he should get to work on time and he continues to argue with me and mad dog me. Glaring at me like he wants to fight.
I don't appreciate being talked to like this by a literal child. I have been at this gym for about 5 years and while the staff is consistantly rude this kid is something else.
What job is it acceptable to show up 5 minutes before and scramble to get your act together?

Beware of hidden fees with Gold’s Gym. The corporate practices feel misleading, and I’d recommend choosing a different gym altogether.
This location does have a lot of upgrades, which is a plus, but the overall organization has been such a negative experience that I wouldn’t return.

I enjoy coming here during the day, but dread my night time visits. Beginning at 10pm gym staff will make constant announcements about the gym's closing time. Last night I was decompressing and stretching in the aerobic room at 10:50pm when a staff member walked in, flagged me down, and shouted, "We close in 10 minutes!" I've been a member here for almost 2 years, have excellent time management skills, and have never stayed at the gym past 11pm. I don't need constant reminders and interruptions about the gym's closing time.
