The classes are awesome and so are the instructors and the environment BUT the way club pilates does their pricing doesn’t work as a consumer unless you’re able to commit to a regular schedule. And the schedule for specific classes are rigid (ie there may only be 2 classes a week at your level that you can attend). I bought a 10 pack and was only able to use 5 so the classes cost me $50 a piece. Can’t say they were worth that and the alternative is to pay an entry fee and commit to three months (where you have to give 30 days notice to cancel before paying for a fourth month). I would love this place and attend more often if it didn’t feel like the pricing was all or nothing.

I am extremely disappointed with how rigid management and ownership have been lately. I’ve been a member here for over three years and I absolutely love some of the instructors at this studio. With over 225 classes, I am a more advanced student and unfortunately there are a limited number of level 2 or 2.5 classes available. Often times I end up being on a waitlist for the more advanced classes. I have now had an unfortunate situation where I had a credit go to waste twice because the management is not willing to be flexible with rolling a credit over. I was on the waitlist for a level 2 or 2.5 so one of my credits was being held for my spot on the waitlist. After continuously checking the status, I was not able to get into the class off the waitlist and since it was the last day of my membership cycle I just lost the credit. When I contacted the studio to explain the situation and ask if they could extend that one credit so I could use it the following couple of days, they are not flexible at all and basically say tough luck. So the credit goes to waste. Essentially $25 down the drain because I was trying to save it for a class that challenges me instead of using it for a lower level class that at this point doesn’t feel like a good use of my time. It’s disheartening that they are ok with taking advantage of their members in this way and have absolutely no regard for customer satisfaction. It’s no wonder their google rating continues to drop. It makes me strongly consider canceling my membership and looking elsewhere. They either need to provide more advanced classes or allow some flexibility in this type of situation. When I’ve shared this feedback in the past, I got a snarky voicemail from the manager rehashing their no rollover policy instead of expressing understanding and allowing me to use the credit the next day.

This is based on taking a few classes with I believe two instructors at level 1.5. Unfortunately this just wasn’t up to par for me as far as advanced pilates training. The male trainer gives robust and unnessary verbal instructions, doesn't allow music because of so much instruction and I find it really takes away from being present and with the experience. His teaching leans more towards yoga than pilates, not what I am paying for. Ideally, Level 1.5 should prepare students for level 2, however I never experienced any advanced moves in these classes. I’ve been to quite a few other Pilates studios across the city and in other cities, and found far better instructors at other locations. I’m guessing that is why it’s so easy to book same day classes at this location, which is ideal for my schedule. I wish they had more variety with their moves at level 1.5 and I perhaps something to note the male teacher as being a VERY different pilates experience. I would like to try other instructors, but my schedule doesn't always allow.

I go to this studio literally everyday. I’m giving the studio this rating because of management- NOT the fabulous instructors. Management knew for months that one of the instructors was leaving and instead of replacing her with an equally experienced person that could continue teaching the advanced classes, they put in an apprentice. When I complained I was told there is no plan to fix this and they want people to learn on the job. Again, not the apprentice’s fault, but I don’t pay $200/mo for anything but the best.

It’s just not a supportive or welcoming environment. I often just left sad. Their contract also locks you into a 3 month minimum and requires at least 30 days notice to cancel before you’re reenrolled, so beware.
