Dr Saavedra was calm, thorough and explained what my injury was - i’d scratched my eyeball with a shrub gardening - and what needed to be done and why regarding treatment and follow up. How lucky to have this resource available in South Austin!

- MAMatthew AlvarezDec 20, 20252.0DO NOT SCHEDULE HERE. I have been to numerous eye doctors and none of them have been as unprofessional as this one. Walked in to office with one of the staff sprawled out laying on the front desk with what looked like an YouTube video playing into the AirPod she kept in the whole time I interacted with her. She was then clearly annoyed when the older woman at the front made her get up and work, as she rolled her eyes at me anytime I spoke to her. The Girl sleeping in her sweats at the desk then obviously didn’t know how to use the eye photo machine, and kept pushing my head into the machine instead of adjusting it, I continuously had to tell her I have used this before and it needed to be adjusted, to which each time she rolled her eyes and told me it didn’t adjust so she just continued to painfully push my head into the machine until I was finally able to urge her to call someone else over, the older women then came back to the room we were in, took one look and then just pressed the buttons on the machine to adjust it. The doctor was such a delight though, once away from the complete incompetence of the young woman working the front I felt in much better hands, so he’s the only reason this isn’t a 1 star review. I wouldn’t come here again, there are plenty of better offices in this city. Also the office was dusty and dirty and the sleepy girl who took my images didn’t wipe anything down before or after.
