- SSSharon SandersJan 30, 20265.0My son has lived in one of the Avid Group Homes for 5 years. He's had 2 outstanding house parents that have treated him like their own. My son is 41 years old. This was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. However, it was the best thing for both of us. My son has blossomed and it learning to be responsible for himself. Avid has changed both our lives. I feel secure with him being where he is.

They work to accommodate our son’s care needs and the ISS/day-habilitation program is evolving to in-house to community based. We are grateful for this family owned company. The owner’s are actively involved in capitol visits- and advocacy for the special needs community.
