Same issue with trying to schedule an appointment. Originally I had an appointment on October 6th. For some reason I decided to call to verify my appointment. They could not find it. The person who answered the phone did not ask me to schedule a new appointment. The next day Ai called and finally had someone answer the phone after 45inutes. She was very nice and rescheduled my appointment for Dec. 1st. I contacted the office today to verify my appointment again. It was not there. Im not sure what is happening at this office, but, it is not good!
This office needs to replace their administrative staff.

I first came to Heart Place South almost a year ago. First let me remind you that the only reason I came to Dr. Vignale was because I have a total cholesterol of 325 with other high cholesterol levels. My GP felt I should be on injectable medication due to bad side effects from oral medication. I have NOT received any medication for my cholesterol from Dr. Vignale.I arrived for my appointment about 5-10 minutes early. I saw a sign saying, "If you wait for over 15 minutes please let the reception desk know". After over 45 minutes I approached the reception window and alerted the receptionist that I had been waiting over 45 minutes. She said she would call the back and see what was going on. After 10 minutes the receptionist called across the room from the window, rather than asking me to approach the window, that there was still one patient ahead for me and it would still be some time. I wish I had approached the window. but I responded across the room as she had, that I wouldn't wait much longer. She asked if I wanted to reschedule. I responded that I would not reschedule and if it took too much longer I would not return.I did not yell or raise my voice. A short while later the nurse came out and called for me. The nurse had a scowl on her face so I responded in kind. The nurse did not greet me but instead rudely began to give me instructions--"head to the right", "get on the scale", "follow me to the room", "take off your sweater". The nurse then proceeded to scold me for "yelling at the girls up front".. She continued to scold me and said that I, "wasn't as sick as other patients and should therefore be more patient waiting for my turn". I responded by saying I did not appreciate being spoken to in her manner. After more scolding the nurse left the room. After thinking about how rudely I was treated I decided to leave and not return. I also want to point out that Dr. Vignale's office is a mess. He has over 4 feet high piles of empty boxes with patient files sticking out from them. I have complained about this before. If his office is in such an array, how are his patient files and his work ethic? I will not be returning and am telling everyone I speak to that they should avoid this practice because of these issues. Thank you for your time reading this

Although I have had no problems with the staff, there is 1 doctor to be aware of. Dr. Michael Graceffo has a horrible attitude. I was a patient at USMD hospital and he came by to see me for cardiology. He told me he was reluctant to see me and had an attitude the whole time. In no way did I feel like he was listening to me or wanted to be in the room. My nurse thanked him on his way out and he just said, "Whatever." and walked away. I have spoken to others that have seen him and found out that this was not an isolated incident. Apart from him, I recommend Heart Place but steer clear of Dr. Michael Graceffo.
