  My family and I had been patients of Dr. Adkins for over 10 years, believing he was the best. Unfortunately, we later discovered that was far from the truth. We encountered strange billing issues more than once—thankfully we always kept our receipts. Since leaving his practice, it has become clear how outdated and poor his dental work truly is. What we once thought was excellent care turned out to be subpar. Sadly, Dr. Adkins went from being one of the best in our eyes to one of the worst in terms of work ethic, dental care, honesty, and integrity.

  Our family has been doing all of our dental work with Dr, Byrd Adkins for more than twenty years. We have been very happy with his office the entire time. I am glad to recommend him if you are looking for a dentist.

  I have been going to Dr. Adkins for nearly 20 years and he and his staff have always been kind and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a dentist!

  We have been going here for years and just suffered through their weird billing and inconvenient availability. The last straw was when my son needed a cavity filled. Just like a normal child, he was scared. They refused to work with him to calm him down. They suggested that I needed to "educate him" and we were rescheduled. I was so mad with they way we were treated, when I got home I was in tears. The dental assistant called a few days before our new appointment to make sure I had " educated" him on the process. When we got to our new appointment, my son was so scared he wouldn't even sit in the chair or let them take his blood pressure. Instead of calming him down, the assistant got loud with him and told him several time that he needed to "act right", because I guess he wasn't acting like a typical scared 6 year old. We were referred to a pediatric dentist and it turned out he didn't even have a cavity. After all of this, and with this situation being the second time we have been referred to a specialist for a "problem" that turned out to be nothing, we will never go see Dr. Adkins again.

  Went here to get my wisdom teeth extracted they didn't put me under was awake for the whole grueling ordeal.. most painful experience ever. And to top things off got an infection when they (accidentally) sewed my gum to the inside of my cheek.
