- TCTammy CarrollMar 31, 20261.0The tech who took me to the back, I believe her name was Laura, exhibited a very flat affect. She clearly lacks interpersonal skills. She would be better suited for a position at a veterinary office where poor bedside manner is less significant. The other staff members were polite during the examination process; however, when I called back to request an itemized receipt, Victoria answered and she was clearly irritated at my questions. She informed me that it would take three weeks for the claim to be processed through their billing department (which is located in another state) and instructed me to call her back in a week so she could print a detailed receipt for me. What a peculiar billing process! Overall, my experience today was quite unpleasant. They seem to have little regard for the individuals they serve. The staff could benefit from a course on being more welcoming. I will not be going back.

Though I was an hour and 15 minutes early, and invaded their lunch time, they graciously gave me my appointment early, saving me a second trip from Friendswood. I’ve used Coastal Eye for many years…since Dr Lipsky started the practice in Clear Lake, and can honestly say, I’ve never had a complaint. They are “well worth the occasional wait”

Scammy and very rude manager! She basically called my husband a liar when I told her he was confused why he didn't get a full appointment. Reporting to the state medical board and disputing with our insurance company. Worst service and even worse practices!
