So I took the week-old splinter in my thumb here to get it removed (ok, not that urgent but I didn't want it to get even further lodged). The nurse was able to get it to the surface above the dry winter skin using peroxide. Once the tiny tip was visible, two of them teamed up to extract it with forceps, one gently squeezing while the other edged it out, no cutting needed. Very friendly, cheap and quick fix.

The Waiting area is an advertisement for Botox and fillers. Brochures, specials, etc. everywhere.Upon inquiring, they told me that they cannot help. This is after confirming and reconfirming this appointment about 20 times, and knowing exactly what I was coming to the Office for. So yeah, it’s not an urgent care. They need to take that sign off because it is dangerous to have people coming there when they need to be seeking actual medical attention.
