  Can see the difference after just one month of consistency. Staff is very knowledgeable and kind, they try to address people by name in class and it’s great encouragement. They do very well at explaining the exercises and they are very patient. I think they do a great job of creating an environment that’s fun.

  Very disappointed with the service. I tried to attend a trial class with my friend and my sister. I wanted to try the trial class first because I had never done barre before, but I was interested in starting with that discipline. So, I scheduled a trial class and started receiving multiple calls to confirm it. I was called about five times on the same day, and I told them that I was working and asked if they could call me after 5 PM. Despite this, I kept receiving calls. The next day, it was the same thing. I took the time to complete the interview for my information, even though I was still at work. I confirmed my class, yet they continued calling me all week for the same reason. Then, they called my sister and, even though the entire conversation was in English, they told her they were canceling her class because she didn’t understand English 100%. Even though she was telling them that she could understand. For obvious reasons, I called to cancel my class and my friend’s, and their attitude was terrible. They simply said, “Okay, your class will be canceled,” and at the end, just a, “Can I ask why?” Very poor service from the start and clear discrimination based on language, even though she was assuring them that she could understand. I have been part of great studios like SPENGA and Amor Studio here in San Antonio, and we have NEVER received that kind of treatment. We have always been welcomed, and the classes are amazing. Quite the opposite of the service at Pure Barre. Very disappointed.
