- AAArliana ArmstrongJan 7, 20261.0Recently moved to the area and wanted to go to a new dentist. I have always taken great care of my teeth and have never had a cavity or any work done to my teeth. I have gone every 6 months to the dentist until this move. It was a year. I was told I had multiple cavities and one so bad I needed a crown. I was also told I have the initial stages of gum disease or gingivitis and I would need a special deep clean. I was pretty shocked to hear all of that since I’ve never had anything and the cost of it. I decided to get a second opinion at a different dentist. Without telling that dentist I was there to get a second opinion, I was told the exact opposite. I was told my teeth were in near perfect condition and they did see the very initial signs of ONE cavity forming and it was really tiny. The new dentist said it was evident I take care of my teeth. I would advise others that go to Unique Dental and are told a ton of things need to be done to get another opinion. It sounds like they may be in the practice of trying to make money. So glad I didn’t just listen.
