The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I am also able to refill prescriptions through their automated system, and I get a text when it's ready.

I would not recommend using Pharmacy Care for any medical needs, especially compounded prescriptions. I had severe canker sores and Dr called in compounded remedy here. I received text that it was ready, with no info about price or if insurance was accepted. I drove 45 minutes from Nashville only to find out again RX was not ready and would take a while to compound ingredients. Also, they charged $95 for the mix and would not accept my insurance. That seemed like an excessive amount for what I found out was mostly over-the-counter medicines like Benadryl and a few other easily accessible drugs found at any drugstore, even WalMart. I decided against paying the amount given and since this trip was already causing me to waste an hour and a half of a super busy Friday, decided not to wait while they crushed the medications together; went home and did it myself.

Always a pleasure when I have to get my meds or the kids. Great little shop in the front with great local faire for purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pharmacy Care of Tennessee

How do I transfer My prescription?

Transferring prescriptions is an easy process! We don’t need new prescriptions from your provider (unless you are transferring a controlled substance). Just call us to provide some basic information, and we are happy to handle the rest.

How long is my prescription good for?

Refills are good for one year from the date the provider writes the prescription. (It’s only six months for a controlled substance). So even if you have refills remaining, but it’s been longer than 12 months, those leftover refills will be forfeited.
