  My experience with the wellness center was helpful with improving my lower back situation. However, the billing department has been less than helpful. I have been waiting three months now for a retro authorization on a service that is reimbursable by my Insurance. There have been several three way calls made to the wellness center between myself, my insurance agent and Kristen. My agent clearly told her what she needed to do and we still continue to get the runaround. Today Kristen was rude, then hung up on us. Combining reimbursable services with non-reimbursable services seems sneaky. If this was an oversight, it shouldn’t be a problem to correct. I feel that this is a disservice to me and maybe others. In my case, The lower level laser therapy is reimbursable. The spinal decompression is not. Bundling the two creates a problem. We are simply asking for a retro authorization on what is reimbursable. On a sidenote, I was “given” a tens machine, not knowing my insurance would have to pay for it. I thought for $4400 which I had paid ,it would’ve been included. I had one at home which is an upgrade from the one they gave me. I would have declined. My insurance was charged three times the price. Patiently waiting for a positive response…

  I had a very unpleasant experience at The Wellness Institute of Nashville. The way management treated their employees in front of customers was unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness. The office also had a very odd, unpleasant smell that made the environment feel unhygienic. On top of that, the pricing was not clear at all, which left me feeling misled. Overall, I did not leave with confidence in their care or professionalism

  I wish I could give less than one star. My father went here and what they did didn't help but he was still paying for it. He was killed in a car accident in March and even tho I called and told them the situation they are still forcing my mother to pay the same payment he was. She lives on a very limited income and just lost half of it when he died. I would want someone to be more compassionate about payment situations. We didn't expect them to write it off but I know they could have lowered the monthly payment. ***I am making an update on my review. I called back again and was able to talk with Kristin the office manager this time. She was very kind and compassionate. She was able to fix my issue without any problem or push back. I suggest if you are unhappy reaching out to her and I believe she would do everything in her power to help.

  I just want to thank Dr Mitchell and Dr Ashley for the care they gave me during my time there they treat you as if you were their only patient , I had decompression for my lower back and sciatica , the day I went I was in horrible pain as of today my pain is gone I still have to learn to walk properly again and that gets better every day . Dr Mitchell staff are awesome from the front desk Ana and Christine are the best Alexa, Lexie, Anastasia,Maddie Tiera, all get A’s on their knowledge of what they are doing and the kindness they show you are just amazing I can’t give you enough thanks for what you did for me and I highly recommend The Wellness Center to any one that has pain

  I have had severe back pain everyday since April. After 5 weeks of treatment I have had days with no pain. Everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend if you are experiencing pain.
