Probably the worst Kroger Pharmacy I have dealt with, they have failed multiple times to have medicines ready when promised and the staff is unhelpful. Would never recommend.

I would rate 0. I have been with this Kroger a year now. Unbeknown to me they only have pharmacy techs working. I have asked for the pharmacist who I have yet to see in the store. Maybe they just have one on staff. I don't know, but I have not seen or heard from a pharmacist. This is dangerous. So I am having my meds transferred but to a pharmacy that hires pharmacist not Just techs. There was an incident where the techs were convinced that one of my medications interacted with another one. Which was false. I am now in the process of getting all of them transferred to a pharmacy with pharmacist there. The one thing I could say about Walmart is they hire more than one pharmacist, at least two there at all times. Techs should not be trying to make medication decisions. I transferred all my prescriptions to this Kroger from Walmart because I no longer wanted to shop at Walmart. There were two prescriptions that happen to be listed as controlled substances that were too early for Walmart to fill. First Kroger filled the prescriptions. Today December 7th around 11:30 am when I went to pick them up they had put them back. I ask the girl why she said she did not know but would put them in for refill. So I went shopping while I waited. I went back 20 minutes later not only had they been refilled, but obviously the pharmacist there did not look to refill them. The girl spoke to the pharmacist and the pharmacist said to me that she did not feel comfortable refilling the two prescriptions since the others were filled at Walmart. First of all one of the other medications was filled at Walmart and Kroger had filled one of the prescriptions on an occasion when Walmart could not get it in. She finally asked the question she should have asked instead of assuming that because I was African American I was a drug addict or was trying to get over or whatever. She finally asked instead of researching it: why didn't I fill the other two at Walmart? That was as simple it was too early to refill them. If she would have simply done her research, she has access to a system that shows the last time a prescription was refilled and where. She could have seen the date the prescriptions were transferred and what prescriptions could be refilled and the ones that could not be. Instead of doing the work she made a race based and biased decision. I had to wait another 20 minutes now while she refilled them. I don't shop at Walmart because of there racist decisions. It seems Kroger needs to do some training and decisions on who they hire as pharmacist and what their preconceived mindsets are. Do better Kroger at 799 Truse, Memphis TN. Racism is real. This is the worst Pharmacy in Memphis. Michelle, the head Pharmacist should be fired immediately. The other tech who obviously only graduated from Concorde Institute should be fired as well. The entire team is rude and unprofessional. One star rating is actually to high!!
